Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kiiü's website and reservation service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

Restaurant managers and staff accounts are created by Kiiü upon a restaurant joining the platform, and are subject to whatever additional agreement is made between Kiiü and that restaurant at that time.

3. Reservations

When you book through Kiiü, you're making a reservation directly with that restaurant — Kiiü provides the platform, but the restaurant is responsible for honoring, seating, and serving your reservation.

Each restaurant sets its own cancellation policy, including how close to the reservation time you may cancel online without penalty; that policy is shown on your reservation. Repeatedly failing to show up for reservations without cancelling may result in restrictions on your ability to book through Kiiü.

4. Reviews and user content

You may submit a review after a completed reservation. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of harassment, hate speech, or content unrelated to the restaurant experience. We review submissions before they're published and may reject or remove a review that violates this, or that we're otherwise legally required to remove.

By submitting a review, you grant Kiiü a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the restaurant's page and elsewhere on the Service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to book reservations you don't intend to honor;
  • attempt to access another user's account or another restaurant's data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its availability calculations or reservation engine;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal browsing; or
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a restaurant.

6. Restaurant listings

Restaurants join Kiiü by invitation and are verified by our team before appearing publicly. Restaurant information (hours, menus, photos, availability) is provided and maintained by each restaurant; Kiiü does not independently verify its ongoing accuracy and isn't responsible for a restaurant's failure to honor a reservation or to keep its listing up to date.

7. Third-party services

The Service lets you sign in using Google. Your use of Google's services is governed by Google's own terms, not these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Kiiü name, logo, and the Service's design and software are owned by Kiiü and may not be used without our permission. Restaurants retain ownership of the photos, menus, and descriptions they upload, and grant Kiiü a license to display them as part of the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Kiiü does not guarantee that a reservation will be honored exactly as booked, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that restaurant information is always accurate or current.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kiiü is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any restaurant's failure to honor a reservation. [Placeholder — a specific liability cap and any exclusions should be set with legal counsel before this is finalized.]

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including for repeated no-shows or abuse of the Service, though we'll generally try to warn you first except in serious cases.

12. Governing law

[Placeholder — these Terms should state the specific jurisdiction whose law governs them, and how disputes are resolved, before this is finalized.]

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for significant changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
